About Nomad Distilling Co.

Nomad Distilling Co. is proudly rooted just outside Williamsport, Pennsylvania—but our spirit carries the soul of wanderers. The name Nomad was born from the journeys of founders Frank and Sarah Kudlack, who have lived everywhere from Florida to Michigan, Tennessee, Boston, Philadelphia, and Texas. That spirit of movement, growth, and discovery runs deep in our team as well—many of our staff share the same “vagabond” story. Together, we’ve brought those experiences home to Central Pennsylvania, creating a distillery that celebrates craft, community, and adventure.

Our Journey

Since taking over the former Mountain Top Distillery in 2018, Frank and Sarah have poured their passion and experience into reinventing and rebranding the space. With Frank’s background in real estate, construction, and management, and Sarah’s expertise in marketing, hospitality, and events, they’ve created a distillery that’s more than a business—it’s a gathering place where every detail is intentional, and every pour tells a story.

What began with a single property has since expanded into something much bigger. In addition to our original mountaintop home, where private events, weddings & brunches are hosted, you can now experience Nomad spirits at tasting rooms in downtown Williamsport, Jim Thorpe, and New Hope. Our spirits are proudly carried in over 200 bars and restaurants, distributed through 50+ partners, and available to customers nationwide—we currently ship to 40+ states.
